Accounts and Identities

Calendaria keeps account, calendar, and channel identities separate.

Login email

Your login email is the address you use for magic-link sign-in. It is the account identity for the dashboard.

Calendar accounts

Your connected calendar accounts are the accounts Calendaria uses for calendar access. They can be different from your login email.

Calendaria supports multiple connected calendar accounts per Calendaria user. One account can be marked as the default for new events, and connected accounts can contribute to availability checks.

Telegram chat

Your Telegram chat is the channel identity used for everyday calendar requests. Once linked, Telegram messages resolve to your Calendaria user.

WhatsApp chat

Your WhatsApp chat is the channel identity used when you talk with Calendaria in WhatsApp. Once linked, WhatsApp messages resolve to your Calendaria user.

Web chat

Dashboard web chat uses your signed-in Calendaria session instead of a separate channel identity. It still uses the same assistant, calendar connections, and confirmation model.

Example

You can sign in as alice@work.com, connect Google Calendar as alice.personal@gmail.com, connect Microsoft Outlook as alice@company.com, use web chat from that signed-in session, link Telegram chat 12345, and link your WhatsApp chat. Calendaria treats those as separate facts on one user.

Why this matters

Keeping identities separate makes account linking clearer and prepares the product for future channels such as Slack or plugins.
