Group Invites
Group invites are for one fixed event where you want to collect who is in. Calendaria creates the event on your calendar and gives you a public RSVP link.
Use group invites for dinners, BBQs, game nights, meetups, classes, or any plan where the time is already chosen and guests only need to join.
Booking links are different
Use booking links when guests should pick a free slot. Use group invites when everyone is joining one fixed event.
Create an invite
You can create a quick invite from the dashboard or ask Calendaria from chat.

Calendaria can include:

| Start and end | The fixed event time. Social events default to a 3-hour duration when no end is given. |
| Guest cap | How many people can join. |
| Join deadline | When entry closes. By default, entry closes at the event start. |
| Location | Optional place shown on the public page and calendar event. |
| Calendar target | Which connected account/calendar receives the event. |
Creating an invite from chat requires confirmation before Calendaria creates the calendar event and public link.
What guests see
A group invite opens on a public page at app.calendaria.co/j/....
Guests see the event title, host first name, time, optional location, spots left, and entry status. They RSVP with their name. If they add an email, Calendaria can add them as a real attendee on the calendar event.
The public page does not show your calendar details or other guests' identities.

Calendaria can list invite links with guest names and counters such as 4/8.
Close entry
Closing an invite stops new joins immediately. It does not delete the calendar event and does not remove existing guests.

Close entry when the group is full enough, the deadline passed, or the link was shared more widely than intended.
Limits and safety
- Public invite pages use hard-to-guess slugs as the link credential.
- Public invite requests are rate-limited.
- Join forms use Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Name-only RSVPs do not count as calendar writes.
- Email RSVPs can add the guest as a calendar attendee and count toward the host's monthly Calendaria usage.
- The host can see joined guest names; public guests cannot see the full guest list.
